Studio

We create architecture and interiors with refined precision, shaping every detail from concept to design development.

Who we are

ARQTK began in Milan, when we were placed on the same project. From the first sketches we shared a way of understanding space, and that collaboration became a common way of designing.

We come from Mexico and Serbia, with training and experience in different contexts. Each project is reviewed from both perspectives before it becomes a single proposal.

Today we work as a studio from Valencia. We begin each project by understanding its essence. With a clear scope, we design spaces shaped by intention and the people who will experience them.

Projects

Pozo de Luna winery

Set in the San Luis Potosí valley, the Pozo de Luna winery combines wine production with tourism: visitors follow the whole process, from the grape harvest to bottling, along a route designed as a sensory experience.

San Luis Potosí, Mexico · 2020

4,620 m² · Degree project, UASLP

The project is defined by massive volumes pierced to frame views. It is organized around central courtyards, reached through transition zones designed to prepare the visitor's senses.

Orthogonal walls contrast with an undulating roof inspired by wine stills. The materials are compressed earth and bronze-toned metal elements.

Real de Catorce holiday apartments

The project sits in Real de Catorce, a town that, after a period of abandonment, has begun to grow as a tourist and pilgrimage destination. Set on a stepped hillside, the site looks out over the Sierra de Catorce. The proposal is a group of apartments with full kitchens and a shared terrace open to every resident.

Real de Catorce, Mexico · 2018 to 2020

245.6 m² · 3 levels, 5 apartments

Design and construction · Restauración de Sitios y Monumentos

The external structure and building methods reproduce the region's traditional techniques, so the new development blends cohesively with the town's existing architecture.

The approach respects and complements the historic and aesthetic character of Real de Catorce while offering modern comfort to the people who live in and visit it.

Alquerías de Pozos house

The house stands in a residential area beside a lake and a golf course, and is designed to make the most of the region's mild climate and many sunny days. Its single-storey structure merges the interiors with the outdoors, strengthening the relationship with the natural surroundings.

San Luis Potosí, Mexico · 2019 to 2021

601 m² · Single storey

Design and construction · Restauración de Sitios y Monumentos

Every room has large sliding doors and floor-to-ceiling windows, opening panoramic views and direct access to a series of gardens, each conceived to offer a different outlook and atmosphere.

The placement of windows and doors maximizes daylight and allows good natural ventilation, contributing to the home's energy efficiency.

Monte Everest apartments

A densification project: part of the garden of an existing residence becomes a new building with a shop on the ground floor and two one-bedroom apartments above. The new construction joins the adjacent house, speaking the same architectural language.

San Luis Potosí, Mexico · 2019 to 2021

331.5 m² · 1 shop, 2 apartments

Design and construction · Restauración de Sitios y Monumentos

The façade opens up to create a transition zone between outside and inside, improving security and offering a welcoming space for residents and visitors.

Inside the apartments, furniture divides the space rather than fixed walls, so it can be rearranged according to the residents' preferences. Each apartment has its own private outdoor area with a vegetable garden.

MJ Oasis

MJ Oasis is the complete renovation of a roughly 70 m² apartment in New Belgrade, conceived as a calm, light-filled home for a creative household and their cats. The project is structured in phases, from a light-touch first step to a full remodel, so the works can be staged over time without losing coherence.

New Belgrade, Serbia

70 m² · Full apartment renovation

The key intervention is spatial: removing the wall between the kitchen and the living–dining room. Two confined rooms become one continuous space, organized around a compact island and bar. A new kitchen in taupe rectified porcelain, with elevated appliances and a resized unobstructed window, defines and grounds the open plan.

Urban Synapse

A therapeutic house is a specialized residence for people recovering from trauma. It sits between a hospital and a home: it is neither clinical nor institutional, with no wards, no visible medical equipment and no long, impersonal corridors, yet it is more purposefully designed than a conventional home.

London, United Kingdom

4 levels · Therapeutic residence

The concept emerged from studies in environmental psychology and trauma-informed care, which demonstrate the significant impact of the built environment on the nervous system.

Public threshold

The ground floor is the edge between city and building: reception, dining, kitchen, common area and assessment on the active side; staff and core on the calm side. It filters movement and orients residents before they move on to safer zones.
